I have sent you information already from the other form, and have given you names of the Morgan family I have researched and am trying to verify all the info and dates; some are incomplete, and lots are going back several generations; computer sheets full of info on this family tree-and re-unions also. They say our family goes back to Morgan the pirate! Who knows. Junior Morgan my dad-his dad John Henry Morgan, his dad-John William Morgan-his dad-Nicholas Morgan and his wife Hannah Epler. Do you think there is more information from here. Id like to go back to Emmigration or Immigration papers also. How would I get to this point, trying to verify all this is not so easy, and some of the dates haven't co-insided with some others I've tried to research. Indigent, Indian territory how interesting in Grainger county!? There is alot of information; but then there are alot of Morgan's too. Does anything look familiar here. Most of the Morgan's who are related to me were farmers from Iowa starting with my grandfather Morgan John Henry Morgan and he raised horses, work horses and worked his farms around Jefferson, Churdan, Adaza etc the northern farms almost desolate of cities; mostly farmland. Grandfather was born April 17, 1888 and died Sept 20, 1971. I knew my grandparents Morgan's and they were very well known in the community and had several children who worked the farms they lived on and worked very hard but were very plentiful and rewarded with good money and good friend for their labors. My grandma Morgan's mother's name was Archer and would like more information on them also. There are still so many missing pieces.. Please reply. Hope my two letters did not bore you. I am most anxious to finish the dates and accurate all my findings. Sincerely yours, LaVon Boucher e-mail; at; tim.boucher@worldnet.att.net

Mary Josephine Wallace was my grandmother, the brother not the daughter of William T. Wallace. I couldn't follow all your relationships of the Wallaces but it appears some of the data are significantly different from mine. The last Creekmore relative I swapped data with was Mary Wallace Spohn about 20 years ago.

Hi, your site seems to give me some information. I am a twin to Richard West (5/17/48). Our father is John Elgar West. His father was John W. West (1/4 to 1/2 cherokee)m. Jessee Imes. The father of John W. West was Elgar West (born in Ohio?) m. Elizabeth Atterbury. Elgar had 10 children & left Oklahoma & homesteaded in Montanta. Then deserted the family & John W. West was left to raise his siblings. John W. West married Jesse Imes & moved to Darrington, Washington in the 1920's. Wish I knew more, but my father, John Elgar West, is trying right now to get family information from the West's that are still living. I'll check back periodically and see if there is any new information or if I have something to share. Thanks again. Bob West

He was born in 1844 and died in 1930. My other ggrandparents immigrated from Norway in 1866 and I believe originally settled in Hettinger, ND eventually settling in Rushford, MN. Su, I had asked once before about Elizabeth Creekmore married to Elijah Davis. I have since found that she was the daughter of Green Berry Creekmore and Ida Ellison. Elizabeth married Elijah, son of George Washington Davis Jr. Elizabeth would be my gggrandmother on my father's father's side. My gggrandmother on my father's mother's side was Luraney Creekmore married to Hampton Meadors. Luraney's brother's daughter,Surelda Creekmore, was Hampton's second wife. And of course there's Hampton's mother, Mary Polly Creekmore. :)

in richmond our capitol recently i attended a celtic festival. while walking from booth to booth looking at all there was to see,i became particularly interested in the names of all te clans, and those names associated with their particular clan (meaning, those represented at te festival). i grew increasingly frustrated with the fact that my name was nowhere to be found. finally i asked a lady why wasn't my name anywhere to be found. her answer surprised me. she said miles is of british origin. you live and learn. after that i decided at 48 years of age it may wellbe time to find out where my roots are. and that my friend is why i am at your site

I've been here two years. There is a Creekmore Mansion in my hometown of Pikeville, KY. It never dawned on me that there might be a connection. I'm just excited to get started with my family tree. Came looking for McGinnis, from a home base of Laurel Co. KY. Blundered into what appeared to be the family of a close friend from high school days, who was a Creekmore from the Winfield, TN, area and who had a cousin Robert Thornton. However you did not have him or his close family in your database although other things seemed to fit, and you did not have the name Thornton in your list of surnames even though you mentioned it in your explanations. I thus far have not found your name listed on your web page.

My friend is looking for her g- grandfather, Robert Buckley. He lived in Jackson, MS in or before 1940's. Any help out there, please? Always enjoy this site Su. Please drop me a note Sue.Am still interested in John P. Crekmore. I went ahead & sent you his children's names & date of birth & death. I have copy's of leters written by his relivities. He went to Cass County, TX near Atlanta. Then he returned & left again. I show J P C to be born in the late 1700's. There are a lot of questions about him. He was my g-g-grandfather. My g-grandfather, one of JPC's children, donated land for Creekmore Cemetery, located in Cass County, TX. His name was Henry Clay Creekmore, 1835-1912. The very best to you. Jo

I really enjoyed your page. My husband's family have a lot of Creekmores' and Lovitts'. I noticed in the GEDCOM you didn't have Ballantine Ransom Creekmores, first wifes' family. I have that info if you want it. Also, several Creekmore families not listed that were there also. I am bookmarking the page, I also posted a message. Good job, hope to get a response on the message.

Very impressive Home Page! I'm sure I'll be using it a lot, particularly your nice array of search engines. I also very much liked your listing of GEnie refugees. This beats the heck out of poor old GEnie, doesn't it?

The AR is not for Arizona, but for the great state of Arkansas, the home of the Razorbacks, where Steve Creekmore, Sr. was the first quarterback of the team known as the Razorbacks. I imagine he would have been glad to have the infamous Suzy Creekmore as the head cheerleader. Boy, what a show that would have been. Of course Arkansas is famous for it's corn squeezins also. Why that stuff will cure yore ills, run yore truck or clean the sidewalks at Creekmore Park.
