The Thumans in my bloodline lived in Swormville, NY outside of Buffalo. My grandfather, August, was born in 1864 and had a farm on Smith Road which was cut when Millersport Hwy was put through. August and Margaret (Leising) had thirteen children of which my Dad was number twelve and he (Arthur) was born in 1909. My Mom (Rita Glose) and Dad had five children and I am the eldest. The second died at sixteen months and the other three are alive and well. I'm in Arizona, brother Don is in Florida, sister Eva near Albany and brother Dan still in Buffalo.
