My father was Robert Sowell, born in Meridian,Miss. in 1900
His father was John Sowell
His mother was Martha Elizabeth Livingston born about 1864
His mother's father was Jake Livingston
He had two older brothers, Burl and Will that I know about and a sister called Mamie. Mamie was born in 1896 in Northern Florida.
I believe there were other children and that John Sowell worked in lumber camps in Alabama,Mississippi, and Florida around the turn of the century.
