My gr-gr-grandfather was Thomas Anderson who married Jane Kennedy in the Old 96 Dist., SC. They moved to AL in the early 1800's. I am trying to find my gr-gr-gr-grandfather Anderson. We think his name was Thomas and that he was wounded in Charleston in 1780. He was from VA, but, contrary to some trees, he was not married to Elizabeth Owen or Didama Wimbush. That was another Thomas. There are several of us who are trying to solve this, but we are all in AL. If anyone in SC or VA has info. which could help, please respond.
