Early Marriages, Whitley Co, KY indicates Eliza is from Campbell Co TN (p 12) The Thornton papers states she was "from" Elk Valley, TN, [in Campbell Co] and is buried beyond Rockholds, KY on a hill in the woods. (p. 91) This tells us where she was living at the time of their marriage, but we don't know yet where she was born.
