Thornton shows "1849?" as her date of death and it appears she has checked the tombstone since the cemetery is indicated in her papers, however she also shows that Lurany was listed on the 1850 census (accounting for the "?"). Death record lists her as Lourania, age 14, cause of death: drowning.
