Notes

Frances is being placed in B.R. CREEKMORE's family subject to verification. Other than here, she could be the dau. of Ballentine B (son of Robt); but we know from that Frankie's descendents that she married a BLAKELY, so more than likely we have the correct placement of this Frances. Although she was married in Campbell Co., they lived in Whitley Co, from 1850-60. [Thornton papers, p. 26]

At home 1840, 1850; gone by 1860. Whitley Co. marriage record states that Frankey was "from" NC; however we know from census records that her family was already in Whitley Co. by 1830 -- 6 years before she was born -- so that information was obviously provided by someone other than Frankey or her family. These things happen quite often.
