Gone by 1850. In 1850 the family of James MOORE 22; Betty Ann 25; Raish 2; and Elvira 1; resided only one house away from H.G.CREEKMORE. She may be child of H.G....subject to verification. [Thornton papers, page 34] That Betty Ann has later been found to be Betty Ann DOUGHERTY. Still looking for a record of this daughter.

Absolum Creekmore received the home plantation at the death of his mother. In 1784 he was taxed with son William and in 1787 "Absolum Creekmore and Courtny his wife" sold 16-1/2 acres on Beaver Dam Branch to John McPherson. The Virginia Genealogist, p. 155
