Notes

At home 1860, 1870 There are two birth records for a Martha COX born to this couple (4 Nov 1858 and 24 May 1860). 1860 census listed a Martha, age 2 (1858), 1870 listed a Martha, age 11 (abt 1859). It is probable they had a dau who died and named the second after her because the dates are so dissimilar it seems unlikely that this is a double recording for the same child. Will proceed on that basis for now.
